CAN'T GET ENOUGH

WASHINGTON D.C. TRIP   As most of you know I recently traveled to the D.C lands. It was a very random, but some what planned trip. I went alone and LOVED every minute. I also went on an EXTREME budget: $250.00 bucks (food, travel, and hotel expenses). I did a lot of research prior too....Called the hotel (they gave me a lot of helpful tips). I made sure I had all the major locations I would be visiting's address to ensure I wouldn't venture off to far. I also looked into the HOTT spots. Washington D.C. as I would describe it, it was easy to get around. In fact it was almost like a circle. I used the circular transportation to get every where (from the terminal to the hotel, hotel to Georgetown, and tried to get to the terminal, but ended up walking). This allowed me to see the city and get a better idea of my surroundings. I like using the city transportation and also talk to the other tourists to get ideas. Candy Cane Rods Ingredients 20 count pretzel rods 5 chunks of white "homemade" chocolate 1 large peppermint candy cane; crushed into small pieces Directions Add two chunks of chocolate to the microwave safe bowl. Boil water in a small pot (the bowl will fit over the pot). Place the bowl onto the top of the pot. Let chocolate take its coarse to smooth land.... Meanwhile take your few mins to get a hammer, meat tenderizer, or hard metal rod (because you have these laying around). Add a huge piece of candy cane to a bag, lay a towel over it, and place on a surface that can take a few hits without damaging it (I used the floor); lay down a towel just in case). Only two swipes and then a few little ones. set aside. Stir the chocolate intermediately to ensure it all gets melted. Daisha's Breakfast Burrito  Breakfast Burrito Sunday I love breakfast and can't live without breakfast in the morning. Every holiday has to be a tasty something. I've decided to share with you a tasty little dish. As you might know living in NYC has changed my way of eating and I'm very picky about where I buy my items. I prefer Trader Joe's over almost everything. Trader Joes corn/wheat tortillas 4 eggs; whisked, cooked 4 slices bacon; cooked and diced 1/2 shredded cheddar 1/2 shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 avocado; mashed or sliced Magic "Daisha " Sauce: ranch and ketchup Directions Add a little butter to the pan. Pour the whisked eggs to the pan until full cooked. Sprinkle cheese all over in the pan and add the diced bacon. Pan crisp the tortillas on each side, about 2 mins or until your desire liking. I got my Christmas package yesterday from my momma :) Well she is the almost like my momma. She claims me anyways...After trucking it to the grocery store I bought 5 apples and 2 pears to make my apple/pear pie. After making dinner I decided to open up my packages (not all the gifts) and there was 12 HUGE apples in a bag. I had to think fast... Apple Crisp. I'm not the best at baking, therefore I've decided to try to make  Apple Crisp (Betty Crocker) 4 medium  tart cooking apples, sliced (4 cups) 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup Gold Medal all purpose flour 1/2 cup quick cooking or old fashioned oats 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg Directions Heat oven to 375ºF.
